Week 1 Day 3 - Kill Smoke
It has been three days since I last puffed a cigarette. I feel refreshed and clean. Although the urge keeps popping up from time to time, I remind myself of the consequences - I mean, what is it that you really get from puffing a cigarette. It does not keep you awake, it does not get you that high or make you feel motivated at all. For about a minute or two, you get to suck in hundreds of chemicals and regrett afterwards.
Imagine if someone gave you a present, say a priceless painting. Would you paint over it? Would you burn it or throw it on your floor and us it as a rag? No one would. Similarly, your body was given to you as a present, do all you can to protect it and keep it healthy.
Thoughts like this keep me concious and never to return to bad habits. I know its just day three and most people would say, "Give it a week or so and he will go back to old habits". Well I'd like to prove them wrong, I'd like to be the person to lets his YES mean YES and NO mean NO.
This is day three, my next challenge is 1 week with no puffs! IM NOT GOING BACK TO OLD HABITS!
